The City of Florence and the Merchants of Old Town welcome you to the Annual Invitational Rods ‘n Rhodies Car Show, 1972 and older. It’s going to be a weekend of fun! Florence’s historic Old Town comes alive with the sights and sounds of some of America’s best rods and custom cruisers. What better place to celebrate the end of the rodding season in the Northwest!Sept 11-12 Newport Wild Seafood Weekend and Cook-off
Celebrate the Northwest's vital, wild-caught seafood industry and the men and women who make it thrive. This event includes the Great Newport Wild Seafood Cook-off on Saturday--admission is $20 and includes fabulous seafood. Twenty teams will battle for the $1,000 culinary award and the honorary title of "Best at the Bay." Sunday's events include a Wild Seafood Auction, where the public will be able to connect with fishermen and processors and bid on seafood. A public market will be open on Saturday and Sunday with vendors selling art, clothing, food, and, of course, fresh, wild-caught fish.Oct 1-3 7th Annual Newport Jazz Festival

The Florence Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 13th Annual Fall Festival with award winning chowder offered from all along the coast of Oregon, the finest blues music that Oregon has to offer and microbrews from some of the best breweries in the northwest! The festival is set for a time of the year where we can expect the most beautiful weather one can imagine on the Central Oregon Coast. Each year, Chowder, Blues & Brews has drawn visitors from the south and central coastal area as well as from the Willamette Valley.
