Skookum Cottage is nestled above the creek and has a lovely outlook through the trees to the ocean beyond.  This four bedroom, three-bath rental cottage sleeps twelve very comfortably.  The lovely living room with its stone fireplace and warm kitchen/dining area make this a great place to retreat.  A luxurious master bath with whirlpool tub, spacious sunroom on the second floor, and large wrap around deck make this an ideal place for a family or multiple families to get away from it all and yet be together at the same time.  A large laundry room with washer and dryer complete this lovely Oregon Coast beach cottage getaway.

Skookum is a Chinook Jargon word for strong, brave, able or powerful.  Chinook Jargon was a sort of shorthand language used between Native American tribes on the Northwest Coast and later by the Europeans who traded with them.
